Paul Costelloe Spring/Summer 2025
“Le ciel est bleu” Open your eyes, breathe the Spring air. The Parisians are out and about strolling down Boulevard Saint-Germain and lunching on Rue Saint-Honoré. Le ciel est bleu, the blossoms are peeping out through their pale green leaves with a hint of pink, and the daffodils have opened their yellow bells. Using sumptuous Irish linens, cotton and silk jacquards presented in radiant pastels, this collection exudes a youthful spirit. Smocking detail and delicate ruffle trims, Irish linen dresses, skirts and silk linen tweeds appear in a Midsummer Night’s Dream. An in-house designed floral print by William Costelloe brings the colour-palette together in Paul’s “Ode to Paris”. Paul Costelloe Bags in soft watercolour shades complement this romantic mood, while iridescent, delicate jewellery designed by architect Angela Brady, adds a luminous touch to this beautiful collection. This season Paul is proud to be launching his first “Paul Costelloe Bridal” collection, as well as his first hosiery collection, both debuting at London Fashion Week. “I am still seeking the Golden Fleece.
Paul Costelloe Autumn/Winter 2024
Paul Costelloe opens the 40 Year celebration of London Fashion Week Friday16th February 2024 Paul Costelloe Autumn/Winter 2024 “Once upon a Time” – Where Limerick meets Downtown New York. We open the door on the Lower East Side and take in the bustling streets of the city of lights; buzzing, eccentric, intricate and exciting. Winter whites, charcoal greys and rich tweeds with leather trimmings are presented in bold tailoring. Leather jodhpurs worn with tweed statement plaids, voluminous shapes in traditional wool knitwear and coats to shelter under as the wind blows across the city from east to west or in Thomand Park. This collection expresses my view that classic design still has its place in high fashion. I have added a personal moment of nostalgia by adding a print based on the street where I once lived. It was a glorious moment to dream and live. It is still a privilege to be part of London Fashion Week, and to express myself through material and form with my London based team.
Thank you, London.
